Hervé Chanut, Managing Partner, Chairman
Holding two Masters, in Management and Economics, Hervé has over 30 years experience in private banking and portfolio management with senior responsibilities in South-East Asia and Switzerland with the BNP Group, before co-founding The Forum Finance Group in 1994.

Etienne Gounod, Managing Partner, CEO
With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry in New York, London and Geneva, Etienne has a Master in Business Administration and Engineering (Solvay Business School). Prior to joining The Forum Finance Group in 2000, he held senior positions in investment banking and private banking with Pictet & Cie, UBS Securities and Merrill Lynch.

Egon Vorfeld, Managing Partner
Egon totals 20 years of experience in finance, in Amsterdam, New York, London and Geneva. He holds a MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI). He was a senior investment banker with Cazenove & Co and Crédit Lyonnais in London, before creating IWM Independent Wealth Management in Geneva in 2000, which he merged with The Forum Finance Group in June 2009.

Hippolyte de Weck, Partner
Before joining the Forum Finance Group as a partner in 2011, Hippolyte de Weck accumulated 17 years of banking experience through senior positions at UBS; initially, within the investment bank in Zurich, Frankfurt, and London, and, from 1998 onwards, within the private bank in Zurich and Geneva. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Fribourg.

Philippe Kern, Partner
Philippe Kern joined the Forum Finance Group as a partner in December 2013, after spending more than 30 years as a private banker with Pictet & Cie. He obtained a Master’s degree in Economic Science from the University of Geneva and subsequently spent one year in London with Hill Samuel on their bond trading desk. During his tenure at Pictet he spent two years in Panama. Philippe joined FFG with two of his former colleagues.
