Geneva, 25 January 2022 - Geneva-based independent asset manager The Forum Finance Group SA has appointed Kinan Khadam Al Jame as Partner. He joined Forum Finance in January 2022 from Reyl & Cie, where he was Managing Director of the wealth management business. He will initially be based in Geneva and will head up Forum Finance's Dubai office, which is due to open in the second half of 2022. This appointment comes at a time of expansion for Forum Finance, which has seen its assets under management pass the CHF 2 billion mark.

A Swiss national, Kinan Khadam Al Jame worked for 13 years with the Reyl & Cie group, first in Geneva as an investment advisor and portfolio manager for sophisticated UHNW clients. Subsequently, he helped set up the Dubai office and worked there as the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director in charge of private and institutional clients. Prior to that, he spent 4 years with BNP Paribas in Geneva, notably in the Middle East private banking team.
With this new arrival, Forum Finance now has 5 partners: Etienne Gounod (CEO), Egon Vorfeld, Hippolyte de Weck, Jean-François Andrade and Kinan Khadam Al Jame. The past year was marked by many positive developments for Forum Finance, whose assets under management exceeded the CHF 2 billion mark, as well as by the award of the best independent Swiss asset manager over CHF 1 billion granted by the WealthBriefing Swiss EAM Awards. To support the expansion of its assets under management, the group is also in the process of recruiting new staff. Having anticipated the changes in the asset management market, Forum Finance has strengthened its structure and organisation over the last few years, as evidenced by the LPCC licence granted by FINMA and its registration with the US SEC. In addition, Forum Finance continues to invest in its research, investment management and wealth advisory resources, as well as in technology, enabling it to respond effectively to the changing needs of its clients.

Kinan Khadam Al Jame said: “I am pleased to join Forum Finance, which has an excellent reputation built up over decades and whose solid entrepreneurial project has convinced me. Thanks to its performance track record, the quality of its team, its total financial independence and, above all, its clear focus on clients, the group has the right arguments to credibly meet the needs of a particularly demanding UHNW clientele. Its human scale allows it to be flexible in its product offering and responsive to international regulatory developments, while having the resources to support geographic expansion.”

Etienne Gounod, CEO, added: “We are delighted to welcome a new partner of the calibre of Kinan Khadam Al Jame, whose client portfolio is particularly complementary to our existing client base. We are also pleased to have found the right person to lead our expansion in the Gulf region. His arrival is part of the strategic development plan we have been implementing for several years. By combining partners from different generations, our governance rules allow us to attract talented individuals and ensure a smooth transition.”
